exemplary role model, and a number of Rising Stars who are moving the industry

2015 STAR (STRATEGIC TRANSFORMATION
ACHIEVEMENT RECOGNITION): CAROL WELLS
This year the STAR honoree was Carol Wells, senior director of commercial training and development at Genentech, who has demonstrated a long-term commitment to HBA’s strategic goals of advancement and impact of
women in healthcare worldwide.
Carol was an early member of the HBA San Francisco Bay Area chapter and served as president of the chapter in
different stages of their careers.
